Friendly Traditional Pub near River
We first found this pub 12 years ago and have been back two or three times since. The food was of a good standard and everyone left full and happy. The staff were very friendly and professional and I’m sure we will be back before too long.
Friendly Welcome
We booked a room at very short notice and were grateful for the wonderfully friendly and personal welcome. The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Definitely worth a visit. We stayed in a family room which was very spacious.
Great Food and Scenery
Lovely village pub next to the river and village green. Excellent menu choices for all ages and a great team running the place. Fantastic sharing platters and the mussels were great and the beer and wine options would keep everyone happy.
Weekend Break Away From It All
Spent a great weekend at The Ship Inn. Welcoming hosts and comfortable room in this characterful B&B. Took our dog who felt at home in the pub. Good for walks along the riverbank. Delicious food. I recommend heading out to Fowey and exploring the spectacular Cornish coastline.
